Appetite Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website appetitelabs.co and develops software applications ("Apps") designed exclusively for integration within the monday.com platform. This Privacy Policy informs users and organizations ("you" or "your") of our policies regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal data when using our Apps.

1. Data Collection and Processing Principle

Our fundamental core value is privacy by design. Our Apps do not collect, harvest, store, or transmit any personal data or business content outside of your secure monday.com environment.

All data processed by our Apps remains fully within the infrastructure of monday.com or is executed directly client-side within your active browser session. We do not maintain external databases, application servers, or storage facilities that collect data processed through our Apps.

2. Data Provided via the monday.com Platform

To function seamlessly, our Apps exclusively utilize the operational data and metadata natively made available by the monday.com platform infrastructure via its standard API or SDK. This includes:

  • Contextual Metadata: Temporary variables such as User ID, Account ID, Board ID, and workspace preferences required to execute functionalities within your monday.com account.
  • Board Data: Text, columns, or values within your monday.com boards, which are processed momentarily in real-time solely to deliver the explicit functionality of the App (e.g., custom rendering, automations, or workflows).

None of this information is logged, cached, or transferred to Appetite Labs or any third party.

3. Technical Logs and Analytics

We do not track your usage habits, click paths, or board activities. Any technical execution logging required for debugging or performance stability occurs locally within the monday.com hosting environment or within your web browser console. We have no mechanism to link this data to any identifiable individual.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR Compliance)

To the minimal extent that metadata is technically processed to run our Apps, the legal basis under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) is:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (Performance of a Contract): The processing is strictly necessary to perform and render the digital service and functions requested by installing the App.
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Legitimate Interests): Ensuring the baseline functional performance, security, and stability of the integration.

5. Global Privacy Disclosures (CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PIPEDA)

Because our Apps can be downloaded universally, we align with broad international standards:

  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA): We do not "sell" or "share" any consumer personal information as defined by California state legislation. No profile generation or behavioral analytics are undertaken.
  • International Cross-Border Transfers: Data storage, geographic location routing, and baseline security are completely governed by your main master service agreement with monday.com. Appetite Labs never relocates your data.

6. Your Data Rights

Under global frameworks, you retain comprehensive rights concerning personal data (including access, rectification, erasure, and restriction). Because Appetite Labs does not possess, manage, or store your actual records, any data subject requests or configuration modifications must be addressed directly to your organization’s monday.com administrator or to monday.com directly.
